The company
Theatre Transformations was founded in the United Kingdom in 1990. The company moved to France in 1993.
We create shows from masks, adaptations of great classics or our own creations. Our shows are aimed at various audiences and venues. In parallel with our creations, we offer events. Either a small event that can take place directly after the show, or larger events that can be scheduled in parallel with a show.

Theatre Transformations was founded in Manchester, England, in September 1990, but its roots lie in the Highlands of Scotland. Tracey, founder of the company, was born in Scotland and spent most of her summers in the Highlands where she discovered the joys of storytelling, theatre and song.
Tracey boot
Actress, mask maker, director, production manager.
It is to Tracey Boot, founder and backbone of Theatre Transformations, that we owe our artistic value: she creates most of the masks, performs or directs the shows. Her passion for theatre knows no bounds, and every project she undertakes is steeped in her creative energy and unwavering commitment to art of mask. The masks she designs are not mere accessories, but real works of art that add depth and dimension to performances.
Tracey holds a degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Manchester. She has also attended workshops with Michael Chase, Jacques Lecoq, Donato Sartori, Monica Pagneaux, John Wright, Stéphane Müh and Haim Isaac. Through this diverse training, she has developed a unique approach to drama, mixing traditional and contemporary techniques. In addition to her performances on stage, she shares her passion and expertise with new generations of actors. Her dedication to artistic innovation and exploring human emotions remains an inspiration in all her work.

"Excellence in design, from mask and costume to decor, is typical of Boot's exceptional attention to detail. Every aspect of the show, including Granny's occasional forgetfulness of English words (she is, like Boot herself, an English speaker who has lived in France for a long time), is carefully calculated to captivate the young audience (and the accompanying adults)."
